Functioning as a mobile wallet, the app connects seamlessly to your Aktionariat user account upon registration. It serves as a foundational tool for storing tokenized shares and enables users to request the tokenization of traditional shares currently held. Additionally, the app offers the capability to import addresses and keys from other wallets, thereby allowing a comprehensive management of your portfolio.

Security is a priority within the app, as all private keys are stored securely on the device. Notably, account keys remain on the device unless a local backup is created by documenting the designated sequence of keywords.

Compatibility with the WalletConnect protocol enhances functionality, permitting users to connect their imported accounts to any dApp that supports WalletConnect. This feature is particularly beneficial for accessing Aktionariat’s own tools for shareholder registration and trading of tokenized shares.

Aktionariat AG manages the shareholder registry for client companies. Shareholders holding traditional shares in these companies can conveniently request tokenization directly from the app. The application also assists in fulfilling legal obligations related to shareholder registration for acquired share tokens.

For board members of companies that issue tokenized shares via Aktionariat, the app facilitates authentication when accessing the corporate dashboard. This interface allows for viewing of the shareholder registry, initiating corporate actions, and securing approvals through a multi-signature scheme supported by the application.
